Shift at Midnight is a simulation of working in a late-night store, where a clerk’s routine tasks are far from the only things you’ll have to do. You’ll have to make your own decisions about whether to sell a customer an item or kill them. Whether you survive until the end of your shift depends entirely on your decisions. And if you make it to the second shift, you’ll uncover all the secrets and have to make quick decisions before real chaos breaks out in the store.
When you start your shift, you must prepare the premises for nighttime visitors. Clean up the pools of blood in the backroom and dispose of all body parts. Stock the shelves and get ready to welcome guests. You need to carefully check their IDs and compare them with the computer records. Ask questions if necessary and watch the guest’s reaction. If it’s a doppelganger—draw your gun and shoot. Don’t forget to keep the store tidy and clean up the remains after the killings.
